Rock Season

There is one positive to the low water level. It has made rock hunting easier. It does not provide adequate cover for the rock herds located around the lake. The rocks have been slow to take up on this and have not realized they are no longer hidden from view. Erik and I took advantage of this and headed for the island to find more rocks for the fire pit.

    Good hunting! Are you sure the rock hunting season is still open? What is the minimize size limit and maximum daily catch for rocks?

    you might as well start building the new fire pit closer to the lake.

    Rock season is not officially open, but keeper rocks weigh at least 20 pounds. I am not sure if i will actually move the fire pit, just might make it a little bigger. Il figure something out
